Been wanting to go Marina Barrage but no idea where or who i heard from that we can only go in via the shuttle bus, so kinda sian. Dumbdumb....we can actually juz drive in can..duhh! Anywayss, was around Marina area ytd and Toh was like..hmmm...shall we go Marina Barrage? So yeah...!

We werent there for too long coz errrmmm.....it started raining?*roll eyes* Or shd i say we were there for over an hr but at the open field area for only abt 10mins. Its a pity coz the open area is a really nice plc to juz hang ard....with a lovely 'backdrop' too.....well...will probably go back again :p

Had a missed call plus sms....

Was thinking...hmmm...unfamiliar number. Sms was from Susan asking if i received any call from Gina saying Alan passed away on Tue morning. OMG. I returned the call almost immdiately to find out from Michelle that indeed, our funny man Alan had leukaemia since last Oct. Thinking it was a blessing that he managed to find a suitable bone marrow in less than 6mths...but who knows, days after his op, he was down with some infection and well..apparently din make it.

Thou i was only with CBT for a year or so and known Alan for a yr, its really sad. Coz he was a really nice and funny guy. Only in his 40s..so young and wking so hard to save money to give his mum a better life i guess. Sigh.

The ironic thing is, was supposed to meet Liza and Susan a few weeks ago to catch up but for sme reason wekeep postponing the meet up....guess what..we all saw each other during the wake. How sad ya. I know ppl say this all the time,but really...life is indeed very very short and treasure the ppl ard you as much as possible. I know i will from now.

Comfort food on a Monday

Met up with Xia after my event at Ion..as usual, duno where to go for dinner. Think,think think....raining = steamboat!
