After 1.5 week of break, i dun even remember what W-O-R-K means..haha!!Luckily will only need to 'tahan' another week or so and it'll be CNY! Yeahhh...holidays again..lalalala!

Feeling a little pissed + disappointed with a few ppl i thought i could trust. One disappointment after another & of coz ytd was the ultimate blow. Well...guess that's life & at least now i know where i stand in other ppl's life.

Had a really long day ytd man!

8am - Part -time cleaner came over to clean our plc
1pm - Church rehearsal (Special thanks to Meen & Mr Lim, Yan, Chik Wee, Wanxia, Huber for taking time off to attend the rehearsal & briefing)
2.30pm - Lunch with Wanxia & Toh's Bro
4pm - Toh's relatives came over our plc
5pm - Zzzzzz
7pm - Dinner
8pm - Met up with flower girl & page boy

Have been gg for class/gym more than once a week now. Nope, not coz i'm trying to keep fit or losing weight for my wedding, not even close, bleah! Its becoz.......i need to complete 9 sessions within the next 3 weeks!hahaha!!!faint! B1 has got 11 i think...hahaha!!!Good luck to the both of us.

Anyway, Toh & i will be at Koh Samui next next Mon-Thu. Since he just started his new job (which means no leave), we can only go nearby places. And since its honeymoon, obviously it wouldnt be our usual overseas trip. So! We decided to book a private villa =)

Honestly i think it'll be a huge challenge for the both of us since neither of us is a resort/R&R kinda person.

Had our dept post xmas dinner last wed @ Grand Copthrone Waterfront followed by KTV session @ Partyworld. The food was alright only, not much variety but since its 1 for 1 promo, no complains!haha!

Happy 2008!

Happy 2008 everyone! =) Well well, after grumbling so much..2007 has finally come to an end. New Year resolutions? Neh..never good at that, & i have never kept to it anyway, so nothing this year. Prefer to stick to my own philosophy: Be happy! Never do or make any decision that will make or allow myself to be unhappy.

But year end's a time for us to reflect on what we have done, met or accomplished. The same, wana thank the friends ard me, my sweethearts/dearies & Uncle Toh. For putting up & staying by me always. Really appreciate that, alot. Good frds are indeed hard to come by and its fate that brings a group of ppl together, really. Some have been ard with me for as long as 12 long years, some 3 good years but its not the time that counts, its the bond, coz that's forever.

I duno what to say...SAFRA party's not quite the same anymore. Its the 2nd SAFRA party i've been to after leaving. The 1st one @ MOS was alright probably coz there were still many familiar faces thus it was fun but this time round, i cant exactly say the same. To be honest..i'm glad i moved on. Missed the times when i was there organising similiar parties but so much have changed within the span of a yr..wow wow. But well, glad the ex-MB team was there thou, 'lurmp' them!

Cold & Draggy Morning

It has been raining for the past few days and dragging myself out of bed each morning's a norm. Feeling alittle unhappy and down this morning but 1 more week & i'll be in HKG, so cheer up Vic! *simileez*

I've been wanting to go overseas for the longeeeest time & especially to HKG (my last overseas trip was to BKK, 2 yrs ago lor!duhh!). Thou its not exactly a holiday but well...i'm still loving it! Loving loving loving it!! Wat a fantastic Xmas present this is......*cant stop smiling*

Dun remember when was the last time i was so not excited that its a Friday. Realised i'm making myself so unhappy lately. The naggy me, the irritating me, the pissed of me, the stopid me, the unappreciated me and the no alcohol me.

I wasn't like this b4 but who wants to? I've been asking myself ytd, y do and say so much? Alot of things in life requires 2 hands to clap. Anyway, i really believe that be it work or not, one really needs to be a bitch to be noticed. Many a times, things will go the way as planned and thing will be executed when instructed by a bitch. Like it anot, that's another issue altogether.

So ladies, lets all be bitches!

B1 was telling me the other time that she ended up hating her wedding and i sort of wonder how is that possible?! Now i know coz i am starting to hate my wedding too....

My Little New Hope

Happen to come across this blog thru another frd's blog. It broke my heart....

It sort of got me thinking, how can a 3mth affair be compared to a 10yr relationship? She had what everyone would say a perfect relationship, loving bf to a doting husband, fairy tale wedding & now awaiting for her new born baby. So much for sticking to each thru thick and thin. I doubt it'll ever occur to anyone in love that their partner will ever walk out of their life for smeone else. The most disheartening thing is; he choose to walk out of a happy marriage, u trusted him more than anything yet end up being betryed, when all his promises turn into a pack of lies & when most imptly,he is no longer standing by you. How can a man leave the woman that he promised to take care for the rest of his life? Are vows taken that lightly nowaday?

If this really ever happen to me...i honestly do not know what i'll do. Breakdown? definitely...heartbroken, for sure...will i ever be strong & get on with life? i duno..

No one can predict what's going to happen in the future, even tomorrow. Certain things are just simply beyond our control. We can be lovey dovey at this point but God knows.......for me, i can only pray & hope the big man up there will keep a look out for us.

Nothing much to blog abt lately..thou i shd start preparing for my wedding. Well, so far have:
- collected my wedding cards
- finalise my wedding album layout
- confirm hotel wedding theme

In fact lots of things not done such as:
- buy shoes
- print mass booklet
- clothes for pageboy & flower girl
- flower deco for church
- confirm honeymoon packages
& MORE!!

Haiz...wedding's such a waste of $$...really super waste of $$ man! & Uncle Toh finally bought his wedding band after a yr since he lost his.....dumb dumb.

No more high heels?!

I suspect i'm suffering from bunion......its a painful structural deformity of the bones and the joint between the foot and big toe. The big toe may turn in toward the second toe and the tissues surrounding the joint may be swollen and tender. Ouchh...

Did some research and! wearing shoes that crowd the toes does sometimes makes the existing deformity progressively worsen and symptoms may arise sooner! OMG! Haiz....honestly i'm already not wearing heels lately as it hurts real bad....

Treatment:
Bunions may be treated conservatively with changes in shoe gear(means i got to wear 'or biang looking shoes!), rest, ice, and medications. These sorts of treatments address symptoms more than they correct the actual deformity. Surgery may be necessary if discomfort is severe enough or when correction of the deformity is desired.

We did it!

To be honest i attended MPC mainly because its a requirement for all catholics before we can get married. But i have or should i say we have benefited alot more from this 6-week course. Getting to know each other better, touching on topics that many couples dun during their courtship days; the reality of marriage; the difference between men and women; money issue; family planning. And most imptly, that i'm not alone! All couples face pretty much the same issues, its just that we dun realise it. Relationship's a companionship, Marriage is a lifetime of committment. At the end of the day, its the decision to love. Our presenting couple, Anna & George have been married for 29yrs and still going strong. Like what they said, there's no formula to a good and lasting marriage, just the willingness to communicate and the decision to love; wat wise words. Many ppl will say it takes 100% committment to make a relationship last. Slight correction, its 100% committment from each person thus a total of 200% to make a marriage last.

*Guilty* Toh's the non-catholic here but i reckon this course benefited him more as he has already started 'promoting' this course to the couples ard us, YES even his colleagues. Haha, but seriously, its a course suitable for all courting couples. We have a dating couple in our grp and trust me, wedding bells will be ringing very soon. But well, this course will either bring a couple closer or make them see how different they are thus break them apart...so well =)

A Mei Star Concert 2007
Went to A Mei's concert with Xia on Thu and damn! It was AWESOME!! She was OMG...a powerhouse! I'm a fan but not a huge fan of hers...i am now! The concert was one of the best i've seen so far. Well of coz i cant compare Sammi with this as i like Sammi. But THIS...the stage, special effects, the dancers, her costumes....WOWW!And not forgetting A Mei..her stage presence, vocal...thumbs up! The crowd were alittle mature so u dun exactly get screaming fans with posters or neon lights BUT, EVERYONE, yes EVERYONE were on their feet towards the end of the show. Mind u, it was a 3hrs15mins show!

Fantastic! Thou Arsenal should have won but well! Bet Uncle Toh's definitely thinking other-wise. Hahah!!met up with Rach & Mic @ Wala for dinner last Sat, at the same time got to watch THE long awaited match Uncle Toh and myself's waiting for.

Guess what, just b4 the match, Uncle Toh went to buy this season's Man-U jersey but still it was a draw!*giggle*

Anyway, Mic, Rach and myself agreed that we will do this again soon! To be honest, no reason not to; food's great, nice plc to chill out, great company, and 1 for 1 drinks!

Treated Uncle Toh to this supposingly not too bad korean restaurant @ Square(2) some time last week. Well, 3 words: Expensive & Horri-gi-ble. Or maybe we just do not know how to appreciate Korean Cuisine...




On the other hand, this HK cafe along Bukit Timah Road's worth a try! Also 3 words: Cheap & Good!
