Work

Work - Physical or mental effort or activity directed toward the production or accomplishment of something.

The question is, will there ever be an end to that something?I've been wondering, why are we working so hard? I dare say for a good 60% of our life? *pathetic*I've concluded some reasons why we have to work: past time, $$, satisfaction, responsiblity.

I admit i complain & grumble ALOT when it comes to working, but to be honest, i CAN be happy and surprisingly i enjoy the work then complain cycle. Ppl always think i seem to be very free @ wk but actual fact is..I'M NOT! Guess its juz the mentality, i multi task ALOT @ wk...chat, type email, write proposal, surf net all at the same time, NO PROBLEM! I do have my fair share of stress (who doesn't?!) but i dun care. My motto in life...Be Happy. I work for $$, to be able to spend & stay happy. Not exactly the best habbit to have but come on, life's short. We are the master of ourselves, so cant let anything/one/else control us but us. 1st 20 yrs controlled by parents, next 20 by employer, that's 40 yrs gone! Sad isnt it? Only the Big Guy up there have got all the right to do so....

Realised i cant handle 'responsibility' very well, hate it but guess it comes with our age ya. 24 yrs old, so 24 yrs of responsibilites..haiz! Anyway!

Sometimes i wonder if its because i'm a Gemini? Hmmmmmmmm....(excuses)

They like intrigue, the excitement of the chase, but once they have caught the prey, they lose interest and look around for the next creature to pursue. In less serious situations they make witty, entertaining companions, good acquaintances rather than friends. Even at their worst they are never dull - there is usually playfulness below the surface, and they can be brilliant conversationalists. ~~

Lately have been asking myself what i want in life, what's my goal, what i wana achieve in 5 yr's time, am i happy with life now? I duno really..i cant even answer 1 of the questions i asked.
