Had dinner & drinks with B1 last Fri @ Orgo Bar. Really nice place & love their variety of Martinis! But my current fave..Mojito! Tried their soursop & calamansi as well...ooooOOoo

This meal definitely don't come cheap, but well, at least i had good company :)

I have to say you have indeed served me well for many many years. From probably my first job (or earlier) till now. You have been thru so many events in my life! You have met everyone i know, my family, friends, colleagues, strangers. Been everywhere with me as well, on all my trips, school, home, office, concerts, you sometimes even know what i bought! You always remember my birthdays, anniversaries, xmas, CNY, NYE etc. Not forgoting the meals that we shared, anything from breakfast, brunch, lunch all the way to supper. You shared my happiness, unhappiness, joy, laughter, tears. At work as well, you been to all my events with me, big or small.

Many times i thought i would lose you but somehow you always managed to find your way back to me. Twice, the 1st time at East Coast but i found you. 2nd time i thought you couldnt make it but since hospitalisation fee didnt cost too much, i thought well why not just save you and have you back with me.

Well well, all good things have to come to an end ya. You definitely have your flaws especially during times like these. I just cant resist and your new brother is just too yummylicious!

I feel GOOD!

I seriously don't remember the last time i took leave to just do nothing. Most of the time its either to take leave to run errands, if not its becoz i'm going on a holiday. But for today and tomorrow, its just random! I took it coz i really wanted a break and gosh, it feels soooo good baby!

The best part, it was raining this morning, exactly the time when i usually set off for wk. I vaugely remember Toh saying goodbye to me and the next thing i know, its 11.30am! Did abit of housework, watch some old dvds, cook dinner and i'm still not complaining beccoz i can play SIMS after this since i don't have to work tomorrow! Wooo Hoooo! But i'm not too sure if i'll still feel the same tomorrow.....

Uncle Toh and myself kinda made a deal that we'll go out on a 'date' once a week. Whereby we'll dine at somewhere new, somewhere we havent tried before. Can be a restuarant, or a cafe, or food court, coffeshop..anywhere. And here we are at Shokudo @ Raffles City :) Basically marche concept, but serving Jap food, the food's not too bad thou.

i definitely have to blog about this because its really not often that uncle toh will meet me in town, that's one. Two, him willing to have late breakfast with me in Orchard on a Sat! and lastly, letting me shop w/o complaining of being tired...anyhow, i know this might not happen again in the near future but i still appreiate that..bleah!

Sigh, i so wanted to have breakfast at Wild Honey but it was soo soo crowded! DAMN! And i thought i was early....so we spent some time being silly :)

Overdose of Popiah, MJ & LOVE!

I know i probably mention this a zillion times but i love my dearies alot alot! Its always great to see how each of us makes the extra effort to either organise or try to make it for each gathering...really.I'm starting to treasure times like these.

Along the way, we have 'casualties', whom either prefer spending time with their other half and them only or will only attend but will not initiate else the utlimate casualty: One whom prefers to be with the 'holy ones'. Initially i was kinda disappointed but then i come to realise we all have our own piorities including myself,so who am i to judge?

I love Saturdays

Met up with B1 for high tea @ Fullerton before the Elva concert. Amazing stuff i would say. Relax, do nothing, talk about everything under the sky..i love this feeling!

But it was also after that that i felt sick. Already having a bad throat that morning but guess it got worse as the day goes. On the way to the stadium i was already feeling feverish but thought could just be me feeling cold. Immediately after the concert..i just Zzzzzz in Toh's car. And i have to say, why do 24hr clinic charge patients THAT much after a certain time?? Reckon they are trainee doctors isnt it? W.H.Y

Anyways, no doubt i still had fun!!I should do this more often...(excl the sick portion), BLEAH!

Dinner date @ Changi Airport

I love going to the airport because its usually not too crowded (of coz depending on the timing). We even did our grocery shopping there; NTUC + watsons (no 7% GST!).

But on the other hand, it kinda suckz to realise that i will not be going into the departure hall....SOB!

Finally met up with Mic. Things are definitely diff after the last incident but well, its still nice to meet up after not seeing her for so many months :)

We had mala steamboat @ Liang Seah then over to the Toys Museum for a drink + gossip...lovely,bleah!

Now...very much looking forward to our 'popiah feast' in Sept!!Weeeeee...

so this is what its all about. ever since it open at amk central, i have nvr seen this place not crowded b4. Initially i thought ahh,another shop selling kopi or probably taiwan snacks. till i heard Ms D rave about Koi. NOW i know....... but it came with a price. YES, gota Q very long for it. Q to pay, Q to collect.

STILL!Totally loving it!!The chocolate ice cream is the best! *i want, i want!!!!*

Big Walk 2010

Am so disappointed with this year's NP Big Walk can?? Sigh, where should i start? Firstly, its no longer 10Km, fine...but their 5KM is definitely not 5Km, its probably only 3km or smething. Secondly, we ACTUALLY had to stop at traffic light & U turns!!can u believe that??Thirdly, for something of this scale, they actually only close ONE lane?? I know this is no marathon but think abt it la, so many participants + having to stop at traffic light + walking along 1 lane = massive human jam. ITs not a walk can? Its like a blardly stroll for old ppl *roll eyes*

Sigh...had to wake up at 5am on a Sunday smemore. Luckily, we had our fave Geylang Lor 21 wanton mee for breakfast,else its almost impossible to see me smile like this so early in the morning...bleah~ (plus no make up & bad hair - double sigh)
