My day cannot get any more boring-er can?? The fact that Toh's not ard, my life's already boring x 100..wk sucks big time, and i have no plans for tmr yet! YAWWWN! How??

I honestly have nothing much to look f/w to anymore each day, i've mentioned abt the ppl @ wk and yes, the relationship's still very 'fresh' and to be honest i dun think we'll ever click la...so no colleagues to go out for a drink with.Frds...u know, muz depend on schedule one la. Howw?? *bang wall* Basically i'm now only looking f/w to end of the mth, for once its not becoz its pay week but becoz i can fly over to visit Uncle Toh, pathetic rite? That's the only thing i'm looking f/w to now....super sigh~!

AnywayS!Took a day off today to send that man off. His flight was @ 12.40pm, so we had a late breakfast @ the airport. Thank God Xia came to send him off as well, else i really duno wat i'll do man. Was telling Toh ytd that it would be sooooo so sad to leave the airport ALONE! Luckily i didnt have to. There's a reason y she's my best buddy. Thanks babe... :)

Its official, Uncle Toh would be station in Vietnam for the next 3 mths..sob sob. But well, at least he's allowed a trip back or a trip over for me once a mth, all paid for, haiz.....so not THAT bad ya. BUuut I'll still miss that dumb arse thou. Aside from his reservist, this is the 1st time we'll be away from each other for so long can?! Honestly duno if i can do this,Haiz....Vic Vic, everything will be a-okie~~

Went dinner @ this HK Cafe along East Coast Park last Thu and tell u wat..i left my cam there w/o realising it till Sat can?! had an event and needed my cam and i was like...Fark!where's my cam?! Think back think back think back....HK CAFE! Called them later in the evening and TA DAH!!! They kept my cam..so nice rite? I really was expecting the worse. Was telling Toh, this cam is so gg to follow me till i'm 80 man! The other time thought my cam was dead but then everything's ok after i sent it for repair, now lost it and it came back....HOW?? hurhur

Anyway, after my own wedding in Jan, this is the 1st wedding dinner i'm attending this yr and damn! It was goood! No wonder ppl always say wedding's a happy occasion. This dinner was @ CHIJMES & i was sort of looking forward to it coz i've always wanted to hold my own wedding there but well since i didnt, it's good enuff to be able to attend one, hurhur. The plc is just rite la...sets everyone in the wedding mood. The deco, the chandeliers, the churchy atmosphere...it was juz makes one feels ike a princess can?Perfect!

Table setting wise..ok only la. But the menu, NICE!

1st dish....Buddha jumps over the wall and tell u...it was fantastic!! The shark's fins...WOWW! The abalone..one whole piece!!Scallop....BIGGGG~~Slurrrp! ok....i sound like an idiot but woww!

Next up was this chicken chop with char siew sauce & Awwwww...TASTY~!!!!

3rd dish: Steam Halibut in Black Bean Sauce. This one...2 thumbs up!!!!!! make it 8 thumbs!

Baked rice with chinese duck cavier of salmon, and pan-fried foie gras. This one ok only but still nice~~

My fave!! Double boiled Hashima!!!!

Was telling Toh...this is definitely the best wedding food i've ever tasted! Nothing compared to the typical 9 dish chinese food we have @ hotels. Really...non could even match this lor.But service level there....BAD! Ultra bad...they never fill our drinks...need to keep asking. And the worse part, they cleared my dessert b4 i'm done!!MY fave somemore lor!!!!!!!!!!!!! Blardy shit! Sigh~~~Hashima.........hashima..

And what's a wedding w/o wedding cake?!!! For some reason i cant have one at my wedding..finally someone else decides to have one for theirs. Really....i think its very very impt to serve or have wedding cake during their wedding dinner can? How can ppl juz miss that out or think its outdated?! Faint! Same theory as birthdays what...y muz always have birthday cakes?!So wedding MUST have wedding cake!!!Anyway, there were 3 diff flavours....Lychee martini(my fave!), coconut something and black forest. Too bad i only managed to try the lychee martini & coconut something...

Guess its not difficult to tell that i was really impressed with the food and yes i am lor. In short..the venue: i likeeee, Food:16 thumbs up, Wedding cake: checked, service...boooo! If i'm to have my wedding all over again...CHIJMES is definitely the plc man and this time round, wedding cake included.

Topic discussed over lunch today was what happens after we die. Or shd i say..how do we want our funeral to be like. A simple affair? A huge 'party' or leave me alone!? hurhur~~

What started the topic was the recent news abt this couple involved in a tragic accident. They had plans to get married on 09/09/09. After their death, their parents decided to arrange a 'wedding' for them. It juz got us thinking..

Honestly, if both the couple died, its fine. But come to think of it, if its juz 1 party that leaves 1st...will/shd he/she wana do the same thing? I'm sure there r ppl who would ya, but is it a rational move? What if he/she finds a partner in the future? Is it fair? Well..that topic sort of drifted a little further to; is there any particular request after we pass on? Requests such as...the inside of the coffin needs to be in hot pink! Wahhah..~ Or our 'smelly pillow' needs to be buried or cremated with us etc.

Since we're @ this topic...i still remember crying to the movie PS I love You! Blardy hell...luckily i watched it @ hm and not at the cinema. The writer's fantastic! Basically cried thru-out the show can?! Uncle Toh and myself hardly talk abt this but well..i guess no couple would either. It's not easy talking abt such things anyway. But i did tell him..in any case, i wouldnt wana be buried and i want my smelly pillow with me!

To be honest, i think i lost the 'touch' to blog. For a few nights, i've been sitting in front of the com not knowing what to blog, WTF? But really...nothing can?! Let me think...home, nothing. Uncle Toh's being very normal recently, not up to any funny stunts; hurhur, frds..nothing happening either, outings..neah~, wat else?!Wk...hmm..maybe bah. Seee...my life's so pathetic till i need to blog abt my wk liao.

Ever since i started on this new job 3 mths ago, i havent been talking much abt it. Unlike the previous times where i'll complain like hell or have lots to blog abt and plenty of photos to upload. My current wkplc is in fact pretty unique. The people, the wk environment, everything's very different. I told B1 after my 1st week @ wk that i somehow have a feeling that my colleagues here will juz remain as my colleagues, know what i mean. How shd i put it? Nothing wrong with them nor are they bitchy or what, just smehow i know i wouldnt be able to gel with them as much as i thought. The things they talk abt, the things they do..its juz different. She told me its still too early to tell..is that really the case? I have to say that i'm not exactly being me as well la. Not becoz i want to lor, but somehow i juz cant be my own self. Aiyaaaa...how shd i say leH? Maybe beoz i'm the only 'newbie' among them, clicks have already been formed,so u know...

Probably i need to juz tell myself that not all wkplc's the same. Of coz apart from the ppl there, the rest such as the job itself and the things i'm doing is ok la. That's y i'm not really complaining. God's alaways fair ya, you win some, u lose some. This is also when i really miss the times & ppl @ safra where bond's strong, everyone's fun, everyone participates in every activity org by SSRC (STEED STEED ALL THE WAY~), almost everyone's happening & nice. The plc where many fellow colleagues turn good frds. Love's constantly spread..,hohohohoho!

My colleagues organise baking/cooking com every now and then. Someone would set a theme/item and whoever wants to take part will juz do and bring on the day of bake-off. There's even an 'official panel of judges' to judge one can??And for the fun of it..why not?


Hohoh..NOT MINE! But dun judge a cake by its cover la..this is one of the best tasting ones thou.
