Day 3
Toh's company org a teambuilding/outing to Vung Tau over the weekend.Its a 2hrs drive from HCMC. Had BBQ and u know what....the vietnamese never fail to impress us with their 'creativity'.

Anyways....set off @ 7.30am. Had breakfast at this plc that serve really nice broken rice. Vietnamese lovee broken rice..to me, its juz like normal rice juz that its 'broken'

Xmas came slightly earlier this yr as a few of us wouldnt be in town from Xmas Day. 'Dearies Xmas Dinner' is usually a simple affair, juz dinner & MJ but this yr no Uncle Toh so we played Taboo instead...hurhur. Though simple but i truly enjoyed it.

Had a major scare 30mins ago...i thought i lost my passport! ~in my own hse~ huruhr, yeah yeah...now i can laugh. Was abt to book my air tix and damn i realised i couldnt find my passport, but well...all's good now *bleah* For the 1st time,i'll be celebrating Xmas out of Spore....quite cool yeah but blardy hell its wouldnt be a white xmas for sure. No prize for guessing where -_-

The recent topic between me and another colleague is....Twilight. YES....we are soooooo into Edward Cullen's character can?? OMG...ok, Robert Pattinson is definitely not cute but Edward is....know what i mean? Guess every girl yearns for a rebel partner (not all i think), and Edward does it so well that Ohhh...i'm 16 again can?? Here's why me, a 16..errmmm 26 yr old fell in love with the show

*Siggghh* Its confirmed...uncle toh will be in vietnam for another 5mths.5 freaking mths can? Which means he'll only be back in May, WTH! I know i cant vent it out on him (thou i already have). Just when i was complaining that i cant take this anymore and then came this news. And yes, even thou we can see each other once a mth..its not helping!!! -_- But what i can i do? Just put up with it lor...wat else? *super roll eyes*

Their final few weeks of marriage were truly the best time of his life. Breaking his silence for the first time, husband of Singaporean hostage Lo Hwei Yen killed in the Mumbai attacks, Michael Puhaindran gave an insight into the life of the 28-year-old.

Puhaindran proposed to Lo in the Maldives within eight months of meeting her.

He said: "Everything I did, I did for her. My whole life revolved around her and she truly was the meaning of my life."

But after a beautiful Bali wedding, things went horribly wrong last Wednesday.

"She said they said they still see activity, still in a very steady voice and still talking to me. I was trying to remain calm as well. Only in her last sentence, she said 'please tell them to hurry up'. And that's when I couldn't really take it, and said that I love her very much, and she said the same thing. So at least the last words I said to her were those words," Puhaindran continued.

Puhaindran recalled her last final e-mail.

"This one came in about 6.36 am Singapore time. She ended off by saying if I don't make it out of here I love you all. Despite everything she was facing, she still had the strength and courage to tell her friends she loved them. I do want you to tell people she was a brave Singaporean," Puhaindran added.

Finally on Friday, he was let into the Oberoi hotel.

He said: "They were still detonating grenades. Initially they did not want us go back but MFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) got us permission to get to the 19th floor. Everything was pitch black because there was no electricity. The floors were slippery. I think the sprinklers must have gone off. Then (they) showed her to me and I was able to touch her cheek and she still looked very beautiful."

Xmas is coming~~

Xmas is my fave holiday of the year, i'm sure it is for alot of ppl out there too.Many reasons of coz, presents aside (hurhur), its also a time for parties, dinners and some good old catching up. I always make it a point to org Xmas dinner with my dearies, and now that i have my own plc..it sort of became the official dearie gathering venue for the past 2 yrs. I cant seem to fix the date coz i duno when i wana go over to Vietnam! whahaha....its likely to be 25th - 30th Dec but i duno as i would like to extend it till next yr.BUT then that man also cannot take too many days off + i dun really wana take that many days either..ok 'stop it Vic'!Make up ur mind!lalalalalalala

The girls muz be thinking what's wrong with this Vic??Coz today alone, i sms them asking, 'oi,change to 20th can?' Then after some hu-ha its 'errmm, sorry 3rd Jan can?' and tmr i think i'm gg to tell them its back to 31st again, keke.

Anyways,yet to buy ANY xmas presents can??How?? Vic,Vic....muz start looking ard soooon!!*Yawwwwn*
